Sending lots of photos?

For dozens of full-quality photos, a shared album or cloud link is often easier. For a handful of pictures to family, a landlord or a colleague, compressing them to fit one email is the quickest option.

Frequently asked questions

What is the attachment limit for Gmail and Outlook?

Gmail allows 25 MB per email for personal accounts. Outlook.com allows 25 MB, but the Outlook desktop app limits whole emails to 20 MB, including the message. Work and school accounts can have different limits set by your administrator.

Why does a 22 MB attachment fail when the limit is 25 MB?

Email encodes attachments as text, which makes them roughly a third larger in transit. That’s why the presets here aim for about 18 MB (Gmail) and 14 MB (Outlook, so it also fits the desktop app) of photos.

How does “All together” work?

It shares your size budget across all the photos you add, so the whole set fits in one email.

Will the photos still look good?

For viewing on phones and computers, yes. If you need full-resolution originals (for printing), share them through a cloud link instead.

Are my photos uploaded?
