Why make PDFs privately?
People often turn photos into PDFs to send documents: a driver’s license for a rental application, receipts for an expense report, or pages of a signed form. Most online PDF tools upload those files to their servers. This one builds the PDF in your browser, so your documents stay with you.
Tips for document photos
- Shoot in good light, straight on, with the whole page in the frame.
- Use “Balanced” quality for documents you’ll email; “Best” for anything you’ll print.
- Location and camera details are removed from the photos before they go into the PDF.
Frequently asked questions
Are my photos or documents uploaded?
No. The PDF is created in your browser, on your device. That matters for private documents such as IDs, receipts, bank statements and signed forms.
Should I choose US Letter or A4?
Use US Letter in the United States and Canada, and A4 in the UK, Europe and most other countries. If you’re not sure, “Fit photo” makes each page exactly the size of its photo.
How do I make the PDF small enough to email?
Choose Smallest file under Photo quality. Most email services accept attachments up to 20–25 MB in total.
Can I change the page order?
Yes. Drag the pages into order, or use the ↑ and ↓ arrows.
Can I add iPhone (HEIC) photos?
Yes. HEIC, JPG, PNG and WebP photos all work, and they’re turned the right way up automatically.
